Nothing virtual about Sport’s Day this year as the students competed in teams comprising of children from Junior Infants to 6th Class. They participated with enthusiasm in the many challenges as they negotiated their way around a variety of stations. In the afternoon each class had an opportunity to partake in novelty events – sack and egg and spoon races being the ever popular favourites. No sports day is complete without a treat and the ice-cream van didn’t disappoint as each child had an ice cream after their sporting efforts.
