Sensory Garden – since returning to school, we have made a few trips to the sensory garden. We like to use this space for listening to our teacher, reading us some books or sometimes we like to sit and do some mindfulness and breathing exercises! It’s a lovely, relaxing area!
Food Dudes – we have started a new term of Food Dudes. This year, we are tasting many fruits and vegetables for 16 days! If we eat a portion of each, we receive some lovely rewards. We look forward to the delivery each day and try to guess what we will be tasting next!
Breakfast Morning – recently, we celebrated Friendship Week by enjoying a lovely breakfast morning together! Thank you so much to the parents’ committee for organising some lovely fruit, cereal bars and drinks! We had great fun playing, singing and dancing with the children from the other classes!
Aistear – we love Aistear! Our theme for Aistear last month was Houses and Homes! We loved the role play area where we got to act out the roles of the people in our homes, making tea and enjoying relaxing together watching our imaginary telly! We also took on the big task of designing and building our dream homes using the polydrons! Take a look at the fun we are having!!
