Scoil Bhríde values swimming as a life skill and in order to encourage and afford each child an opportunity to partake in this worthwhile activity the school, in conjunction with the swimming pool in Roscommon Town, offers a 7 week swimming programme to all students from 1st to 6th class.
The children are instructed at their level of competence and progress through the levels at their own pace.
At the end of the programme each child is presented with ‘A Certificate of Achievement’ in recognition of each individual’s personal best be it at Level 1 or level 8.
