For one week in October each year Scoil Bhríde becomes a hub of mini-mathematicians as all children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class partake, with enthusiasm, in a plethora of maths activities. Children can be seen following maths trails around the school both inside and outdoors as they negotiate pattern, measure, number and shape and space in the environment. There are many ‘light-bulb’ moments as children see the world through ‘maths-eyes’ and realise that maths is all around them not just in the pages of a book!!
